Next Project - Beach purse with Needlepoint

I bought this project many years ago in thoughts of finishing it for an upcoming beach trip. So several trips later I have finally finished it. It was about half done a few weeks ago when I picked it up again. I have several projects going at once as you can guess. It just depends on what I am doing at the time. If I am working in the basement craft room then I'm painting or sewing and if I'm watching a show on TV then I am stitching something, so there are multiple things happening at once.

Finished Project

I actually finish a project and several on the way. But here is my first completed one. This was a project I had started many years ago in paint classes. The pattern was there but it still needed the finishing touches and finish and hanger.

As I first posted I was redoing my paint/craft room, I'm pretty proud of myself, I tackled the air nail gun and made my shelves. Once the paint bottles were up, I was love'n it.

End of the Week

We with 50+ degrees outside in January who could stay in and do anything. So my unfinished project today was take down the Christmas decorations, washed my car and put on new wiperblades (had some help with that one). But I did get to sit down this evening and to some stitching. My Swedish weaving is a nightmare but I got the first few rows completed, but I also found an other project in my bag. A summer purse with a needlepoint design on the front. With only a few rows left to complete I picked it up and started to finish the rows. I think I see the end of this project by the end of the weekend. Until tomorrow....

Day 1

Did you ever have an unfinished craft project? One, two, three..... how about to many to count. So that is my purpose for 2012, Finish the unfinished. So over the Christmas / New Year time off, I have reorganized my craft space and lined up my projects. Each week I will try and finish a project and keep all of you updated on my progress.
I have started so many things and I always find new things to make, but I am limiting my new ideas till I am finished with my old ones. So join me as I start my next new / old project. Posting pictures soon.

Day 1

I love to craft and paint, so I thought I would share my ideas with everyone and maybe give you an idea that you can share too. Christmas is only a few day away and I'm already thinking about ideas for next year.Of course I still have at least two nativity set I haven't finished for the last 10 years but someday. Maybe when I have time, who has extra of that. I hope you will check back again and see what I'm up to, I never know myself.
